Demo...

I took my supplies up to our exhibition today and spent some time doing a demonstration of how i create oil and cold wax images!  It was really enjoyable, and folks seemed to be really intrigued.   Of course as i was doing it all i forgot to step back and take a photo...dah...so here it is at the end of the day!!!

Nothing of mine has sold yet, we still have another day.  And altho i would really love to have one of my paintings find a new home, it isn't the main reason for being part of this exhibition.   I've totally enjoyed getting to know the other 4 women, so distinct and original....and spending a few hours talking art is always worth while!  

Cape Breton is such a small place, and we are still in the season without visitors and tourists....but it has given me fresh hope to pursue other galleries in Nova Scotia to place my paintings.

Having spent many hours 'talking' and being out there....i'm happy to spend the rest of the evening in front of a screen :)
