More celebrations!

Today saw the main VE 80 celebrations in the region. There was a parade of vintage vehicles, followed by the veterans, cadets and other uniformed organisations. Then the various dignitaries had their say, ranging from the local Lord Lieutenants and Provost to the Leader of the Council.
I then helped with the lunch for the veterans and cadets, which was good fun.
Back home I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine before preparing for a BBQ with friends, sitting out on the patio until after 10PM.
