We let the minibus do the work today. Tomorrow this area, which is an MOD range, is closed for bombardment practice. Such a waste, but an essential part of keeping a working army in today’s uncertain world.

The land damage looks minimal with only one or two minor bomb craters visible on the 11mile drive over from the Kyle of Durness. And it is reassuring that the targets seem to take most of the hits!
