More morning light

The sun striking one of my bouquets this morning. I love that my house faces east and I get such nice light.
Today has been gorgeous but I had no time to get out for a hike. I've been busy getting things ready for next week as I'll be heading out to Mom's tomorrow for Mother's day and her birthday is Monday. I made some chocolate macaroons to take out and they are very good.
I have put an extra in from our incredible session last night. The Randal Bays and Marty Smith concert was so fine. They are both excellent musicians and just good humans. It was actually the first real gig they had played together and I could tell that Randal was very pleased with how good Marty accompanied him and just how good he was in general. We had about 45 people there which was a great turnout and we got the ballroom for free so they were going to get a nice little paycheck. They are playing several concerts in Colorado so it was worth it for Randal to fly out from Seattle.
After the concert we went back to Kelli's and played until about 11. I think we had about 17 people crammed into her house. It was so fun but late.. I am so tired today but glad I had all the things yesterday.
