The tulip park

This park is called St Bernard's Park, but I know it as the tulip park, there are thousands of tulips planted there.
It was a cloudy morning with off and on downpours.
Fortunately Marilyn's car is a hatchback and the back seats fold down. I went out to the shop where the truck is sitting and put all the tools into the back of Marilyn's car. Rakes, shovels, edgers, brooms, the various sized pruners and the buckets with the weeding tools. I also remembered to get my sunglasses, rain jacket and boots. I'm glad I had my boots with me when I walked in the park.
With the weather being the way it was, I didn't want to go too far this morning. The tulip park is in Enfield, about a 30 minute drive out of the city. Then I went on to a farm market/meat store/garden center. They have several varieties of marinated chicken kabobs and those are easy to put on the BBQ with a packet of potatoes for supper during the week. And they have good prices on the plants at the garden center so I picked up a few things that I have on my list.
The invoices are done for this week, quotes are up to date and emailed off to the customers and the house plants have been watered. Laundry is done and the dishwasher in on the cool down cycle now.
Brunch tomorrow, then meet with 2 more potential customers. After that, the rest of the day should be mine to do what I want. I had not planned to do any quotes on Sunday, I was going to take the day off for my birthday. But with the truck breaking down and planning to go away next weekend, I decided I would have to get a couple of them done on Sunday.
