bimble

A change of pace, meandering through the morning coffees, a kettle found, the Aeropress called into action. Indian coffee, Devan's, variations of type now both wonderful. And down the hill early for a breakfast of channa bhature and a slow walk around the lake, temple architecture and design changing as the road moves into the hills.
Later the investigation of a couple of paths but this remains a place which encourages you to slow down, look and listen as the day moves on around you.
Later a walk beyond a saddle in the hills, wheat fields sprawling out along terraces, the glint of metal as the harvest is gathered. Beneath them rice paddies marked into the dry earth, for the moment a makeshift cricket pitch while beyond these scenes, the blue tinged tones of other hills etched into the smog, possibilities stretching out across gathering distances.
