Closer look

I just can’t get enough of the Bougainvillea flowers! They are spectacular and I feel like I should enjoy them before the winter frosts arrive.
We’ve had a peaceful day with a sleep in and then a brunch of homegrown eggplant.
This afternoon was spent relaxing on the veranda watching the tiny Fairy wren’s flitting about. There must be a couple of families in the garden.
Michael thinks the broody Guinea fowl may be sitting on a couple of hatchlings which is exciting!
