A late afternoon view looking towards the Western Ranges as we were driving towards Motueka.

The foreground is a muddy tidal area while the Moutere River can be seen flowing towards the Moutere Inlet and eventually into Tasman Bay, NZ.


Today, Mothers in New Zealand were celebrated with Mother’s Day. It’s been a busy day spending time with both our mothers and catching up on the internet with our distant children - in between a reasonable amount of driving. It’s now late evening and we are relaxing at home.
