Scarecrow Festival

While I was out walking this morning I spotted a few ‘scarecrows’ dotted around the village…part of a trail that has been organised by Community Action Group. There is a theme of VE Day - with funds (from the sale of maps and refreshments) being raised towards “Help For Heroes”.

I have picked four to make a collage to give a flavour of the day - including the one from outside the primary school.

The Czech beer that I blipped yesterday is rather nice - I had a glass of it with my tea last night. Maybe one tonight too …  :-)

Incidentally, I passed the 500 mile mark for my walking challenge today..only 700 more miles to go!!
