The new smart watch

My cousin bought a smart watch recently and had her son set all of the settings for walking and sleeping. I listened to, and was jealous, of course.

I started to scan the web and found some makes that made me curious. I called the guy at the computers and appliances store that has served me well over the years. He found one make suitable for my needs. There was even a price campaign going on so I made up my mind and he managed somehow to send it as special delivery so it came on the following day!

I managed to set settings for walking and went out to try it right away. I walked around this long row house building and through the park, checked my mail and came home.

Sitting at my desk I found out that I had taken 35 steps, thirty-five! How come? Later when I talked with my cousin she knew that these smart gadgets measure and count steps by the movements of your wrist or your arms! Huh? That explains the result, because while walking with a rollator you most certainly can't wave your arms. :-))
Extra. A cup of coffee was needed.
