Another boathouse

Today we were guests at De Waal rowing club for yet another day in the rowing instructor/coach course.
Fun fact is that De Waal has a club house and a floating boathouse. On the photo we are getting a tour around the boathouse and jetties.

This day was all about the technical set up of the boats. Things like, oar length, span width, lock height and angle, etc. as a former coach of a lightweight men’s eight I knew all the details, but it was nice to measure through and improve the settings of one of the quads. That took us an afternoon to do, but afterwards we were allowed to test out their rowing water. Good fun!
