Les Miserables

My all time favourite show is Les Miserables. This was the fourth time I've seen it. The ladies sitting next to us have been three times this week.
It was a first for Elizabeth and Adelaide and they were duly impressed. The boys declined to attend. No doubt they will appreciate it in future years but no point spending that sort of money on a reluctant audience.

The ICC Theatre was the biggest I've ever been in - 9,000 seats! It was a terrific performance to a very receptive crowd.
One of the stars, Marina Prior (who we have seen several times at Norths) was not performing tonight but she has played three major roles over the years. Firstly the child, Cosette, next Fantine and now the old inn keeper's wife.
