Fountain pen

I got really excited when the post knocked yesterday thinking the package he gave me was the material my daughter sent. Imagine my surprise to find it wasn't the material but my dad's fountain pen that I had sent for repair a few weeks ago. Had totally forgotten about it
My mum gave dad this for his 21st birthday in the late 1940's. I remember him using au when I was a child. I think it must have not been used now for the best part of 60 years . I sent it off to the Battersea pen repair place who said it was worth £125 pound and worth repairing. I am delighted it is now back with me looking like it did when I was in my teens
