Watching and waiting for dad

This Coot family have one of the tidiest nests I have ever seen on the pond in Queens Park.
It is quite a tight squeeze for mum and her four chicks to settle in the slight depression in the twigs but they manage.
The chicks were making no attempt to leave the nest so I think they must be fairly young.
