Drive slowly!

Almost a close encounter of the third kind this afternoon!
I was driving home after planting some carrots at our allotment, when a hare jumped out in front of me.
I was going very slowly or else I would have run him down as he was less than a metre away.
The photo is of another hare I saw less than five minutes before my “encounter.”
I love seeing hares, but not right in front of my car!!!
