Poppies in the Road

A busy day for me. Up early to catch a ferry and a trip to Sussex for a meeting. Once home I had to pack for my holiday which starts tomorrow.
I snapped these poppies in the middle of a dual carriageway in Portsmouth. I saw a lot of poppies today.
