Rusland Pool

After the busy day yesterday we had a gentle stroll up Rusland Pool and ate at the Carvery at  the Newby Bridge Hotel. To be recommended if you're in the area on a Sunday. The river is tidal here. We spent several minutes watching ducklings being swept up river on the incoming tide while their parents oblivious, carried on downstream.
