Fledgling robin

This scenario played out in front of me while I was at the kitchen sink first thing this morning preparing to make a pot of tea. Of course, I didn't have a camera at hand, so I dashed off to get one.

On my return the fledgling was still there, having fun in the water. He then hopped out, shook himself and stood on the edge of the bath, and his Mum appeared and fed him his breakfast. 

It wasn't yet 7.00 am, but I knew my blip for today was sorted!
