Bees

I’ve learnt two things today…

1. It’s very difficult to photograph a bee who doesn’t want to be in an observation pot.

2. This is a hairy footed flower bee.

Thankfully my photo was good enough for someone who knows about bees to identify it for me.
Didn’t manage to catch any of our red bottomed bees so still unsure on their identification.
