Half day DIY…making and painting the canopy for over the front door.

Then took The Revs second cousin and partner out to lunch. (He’s Dans brother). The chat was fascinating but made us miss Dan more as we would have loved his point of view of events.
The weather was glorious and we chose a pub out in the countryside with a garden. Everyone had good food except mine!!! :((( don’t know why I keep ordering risotto…it seems like few chefs can actually cook it!!! I had a bowl of rice and peas!!!.
Popped into to Mum’s on the way home to say Bon voyage to my sister and niece who are driving back to Newcastle tomorrow.
