Buying more plants
Not sure I agree with this totally, but certainly helps with making friends. The man was at Shuttleworth watching airplanes all day, and I had a free day after church. So I headed to my favourite garden centre, with a short diversion to the plot to collect empty compost bags - the garden centre collects them for recycling into garden furniture.
I wasn't sure about lunch as it was very busy, but no queue when I got to the cafe and another lady popped into the queue behind me. We got talking and decided to share a table and did we talk!! So another gardening friend made and connected on Instagram.
The car is due its MOT test tomorrow, so the late afternoon was spent removing the allotment from the car and then I let the Shark loose on it too. It isn't sparkling clean, but definitely a lot better than it has been for a long time. Hopefully the MOT people will be able to reach the parts they need now.
The extra is my lovely yellow Clivia, where 10 of the flowers show signs that pollination worked. Only another 10 to 11 months to wait for the seeds. :-)
