10K

It was the annual Muller 10k race today and it runs right past our house, so we took our chairs, drinks and snacks to a shady spot and sat comfortably whilst the brave competitors raced past us and we cheered them on. Such a hot day for them but they all have a goal to achieve, either personal or to promote a charity and do their best. I so admire them. Wouldn’t catch me doing that or going anywhere near a trampoline!

After the last brave souls turned the corner we spent time with our neighbours under the shade of their lovely Lilac trees and caught up with family news, current affairs and many other topics. Then time in my own garden whilst Mr HB had a siesta.
