Finds
Day off today - the sun was splitting the sky and roasty toasty so I loaded up the car with everything I could possibly need for a day out in East Lothian - beach/swimming kit, a book/magazine/notepad/pen, a hammer and chisel, binoculars, food, drinks, sunscreen etc etc, everything except a jumper - what an absolute fanny!
First stop was Barns Ness (well known for its fossils) to scout the area for a potential visit with a fellow rockhounding friend another time and to meet up with some other friends and their dog. It was very windy and pretty chilly, especially when all you have on is a vest. (No, @thechimp that wasn't *all* I was wearing, but it was the only layer, not that I'm expecting you to get 'smart' or anything, lol)
It ended up being quite a quick catch up with said friends (who were also unsuitably attired), had a quick mooch about - these were a few interesting fossily finds, all above the high water mark (plenty of promise for another trip).
Sacked the swim and headed back home where it was much warmer, so went for a walk back here instead - no jumper required.
