School over the Hill

Had a not so restful walk today around the Rodean Valley. Unfortunately, this place is usually deserted but today a man followed us whistling all the way. Having a collie who is very nervous of men on their own, let alone, whistling men, made this walk slightly stressful. Flash wants everyone to know, though, that he did not react at all. and required a lot of praise for not charging at this lone wolf.
He almost blotted his copy book though when we suddenly came across a herd of cows but, again, dropped to the ground when his grumpy owner told him to lie down. The funniest thing though is that the other rescue dog, Ben, not only doesn't put a paw wrong but tries to look after Flash too by jumping on his back whenever he sees potential triggers. A trainer told me one that he was "doing my job" but I am not agile enough to jump on his back. lol. Anyway, we survived the walk and the dogs are now snoring happily.
