Calm and Peaceful

My mother-in-law Jean is still with us and is calm and peaceful. We’re a tad tired with sharing one armchair and one upright chair. During the night one of us was always awake, while the other tried to doze a little. The nurses and carers are very attentive and kind and keep us going with tea, coffee, sandwiches and biscuits, as well as looking after Jean. They treat her with such respect and gentleness. We had an early morning walk into the centre of Largs at 7.30 to get a bacon roll, and then a few independent short walks for fresh air and to stretch our legs. Let’s see what tonight brings.
