Hardenbergia Violacea

I wandered over to the lake after work today in the hope of catching the Ibis doing something interesting as they come in to roost but the light is still not quite strong enough for a good image at that hour of the day.

Another couple of weeks or so should do it and hopefully then I'll capture a good shot of the treefulls of them as they build their nests up for the new arrivals! Needless to say I left Jake at home so that I could sneak up on them, but to no avail!

The Hardenbergia Violacea or the Native Australian Lilac was in full bloom climbing and covering a large section of the fence around the lake. It was so beautiful I couldn't resist showing you ;)
