Whelprigg House

We had a WI outing to an open garden today. It was in aid of St John’s Hospice and we have adopted the charity for our fundraising recipient this year. So we made cake to be sold at the event. I had planned to take cake but hadn’t been able to make it as I wasn’t very well on Saturday evening. Feeling much better on Sunday, I went to visit the house and gardens. A great day out in glorious sunshine.
