18 June Road

This is the main road in Panjim, the capital of Goa. It has some beautiful shops, restaurants, arthouse cinemas, banks and offices on either side of the road. 

It is lined with trees on both sides as seen in this photo. It is fun walking in the shade on this road.

I was standing outside the 'Aunty Maria' cafe when I took this photo. This cafe is very popular amongst the locals and tourists alike. We stop for a coffee, paneer (cheese) roll, muffins and cake at this cafe whenever we visit Panjim. Today we had coffee and chocolate cake.
