The Feast Day of Saint Pancras.

It is gloriously warm and sunny. 21.7c indoors. There is a strong breeze which stops it getting too close.

I have been to the shop, the Parish Church and the park for a good walk.

I sat quietly for my morning prayers.

The builders have started work today on the repairs to the Bell Tower of the Parish Church.

The parishioners and vicar have worked very hard to raise funds for building maintenance.

I then got on with cat care, fed the garden birds, did some washing and drying and put it out on the clothes line.

I carefully thinned out and re potted poppy seedlings and Coriander seedlings. It is so exciting to see their good progress.

Our Rishton Catholic Primary School has received a "good" outcome from a recent Ofsted inspection. Everyone is delighted. Our children used to attend school there.
