Wings In the Rain...

Rain all morning! Not that I'm complaining. When you're feeding newly hatched young though, life gets a bit more challenging. These Downy woodpeckers were no doubt thankful for our offering of BarkButter. The two females hit the feeder at exactly the same moment. They weren't keen on sharing, so both flew off. I was happy with this unusual shot, only wish I had gotten the other one's head in the photo. Or maybe this view adds a touch of mystery to the image. Drama!  m
