My pastimes

I have been fiddling about on my phone for a while when the cluttered table before me came into focus.

It struck me that you might be able to guess a couple of my pastimes/hobbies by observing the clutter! The camera (of course) although most of my blip photos are taken on my phone, as it’s quick to upload them and I usually have my phone with me!

A bookmark - I usually have a couple of books on the go at one time. The little blue constellation notebook under the tiny green pencil case contains my BookBuds notes and scores out of ten for the books we’ve read. (It didn’t actually cost £2, that’s a random sticker) This month we’re reading The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon, which I really enjoyed.

My menu for the week and attached shopping list is sitting on top of stuff, as that’s what I’ve been working on most recently. Towards the back there’s a sketch book and another pencil case with sketching tools. And right at the top a tin of colouring pencils and my Kaweko fountain pens.

Oh, and the gorgeous lilac in the middle that I cut a few days ago, with a candle brought all the way from Iceland as a gift from a friend.
