Garden of Remembrance & Fibromyalgia Awareness Day

Today is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.

I went for a walk at lunchtime to take some photos of the Garden of Remembrance that was officially unveiled in Dumfries yesterday.

The People’s Project in the town have worked tirelessly to make this happen, isn’t it beautiful?

I have uploaded a couple of extras.

I had a lovely chat with two volunteers, both of whom, like myself, worked in education. 

I’m spending some of this afternoon having a long overdue catch up with Blip journals. 

Managed to complete Unit 13 of my Ukrainian lessons on Duolingo this morning, 94% score which I was very pleased with. 

I’ve been studying the language for almost two years now (with big streak breaks due to my health). 

Getting back in my stride now, nearly a week into a new learning streak. 

I’m learning Welsh now and have just completed Unit 4.
