A busy morning. I went to the recycling site with garden greenery and soil. Stopped for a few groceries on the way home. Then checked the tyre pressures and topped up the screenwash. I pumped the bike tyres up too (though I think my cycling days are over) and tidied the outside store.

In the afternoon I set off to wander around the short circuit via the park. When I got to the footbridge where I would have started the return section I changed my mind. I went over the bridge, turned right along the Under Loughrigg road passing the stepping stones and on to Rydal. Then a much needed drink at Rydal Hall tea room before the homeward stretch.
