Easy!
When we first saw this house I was surprised that the kitchen was at the front of the house, all our other houses had the kitchen at the back. I soon realised one big advantage of this - to have a kitchen that was not a thoroughfare, with people and dogs trailing through from the garden.
But another advantage is being able to watch what is going on, entertainment whilst washing up. Walkers passing by, local people wandering by, usually with dogs, deliveries being made etc. And today I was watching the delivery of materials for the new roof for the house opposite - this huge pile of planks being lifted out. So why no driver or crane operator - of course it was being done by remote - one guy at the other side with a small control in his hands.
Later I watched the solar panel guys arrive and proceed to dismantle the panels - a much quicker job than I had imagined it would be. I did wonder though just how many panels are taken off roofs, not many I would think.
