Domesticity
Wired by endorphins from yesterday's outing, I woke at 03:30 and struggled to get back to sleep for an hour, but then woke and found it was 09:00! I spent the morning working, but also ran the dishwasher and a load of washing. It's been a bright and partially sunny day today, so I put the washing out to dry! When I'd had the clothes line explained to me on arrival, I'd though the information unlikely to be useful!
I took a break at the end of the morning to stretch my legs, and went along the road I'm living on until it dipped downhill. Most of the streets of Klaksvík run flat cross steep hillside, so the roads joining them are few and rather steep. Fortunately there are many stepped footpaths, but it takes a little familiarity to identify which ones are public, and which private. I digress... Before the road drops down it becomes increasingly rural (all within a kilometre) and these sheep provided foreground for this "standard" view down the fjord. One posed very nicely for my, and I though that its fine horns deserved an extra.
After picking up a few groceries, I returned to the flat and got back to work. The forecast for tomorrow and beyond is excellent!
