Old Ladies' Walk

I had to go into Bantry today for an oil filter (!) and some strawberries and then nipped into Bantry House, mindful of Mono Monday's challenge of stairs. There are a 100 steps which lead up from the fountain and parterre (yes that's what it's called and see extra) up to the woodland walk  The steps are known as Old Ladies' Walk,  - a bit of a killer for old ladies. and I passed this time. It's pretty aerobic but the view is sublime once you're up there. Three girls yahooed down at me and we waved. .The wisteria in said parterre was looking incredible..
