Magical spells

"You will take me shopping. You will buy me dinner. Resistance is futile".

A little people watching shot in the National Theatre. We were only in London as we were babysitting Little Miss A whilst her parents went to appointments in two different locations. By a curious coincidence our friend M was also in the vicinity as she had been staying in an Airbnb in the east end, so when the parents came to collect Little Miss A the five of us went for lunch in Wahaca, the Mexican restaurant on the south bank. High jinks with cocktails, beer and cherry red lip balm ensued (see extra).

Our plan to undertake further exploration in the city fell apart due to the power cut that bought the London underground to a halt, but by then it was quite late in the afternoon anyway, so we headed home in the sunshine. An arduous afternoon of falling asleep in comfy garden chairs beckoned. This was made still more gruelling by reading in the sunshine and playing games as the sun went down.

Excellent day and little Miss A was very well-behaved for her grandparents who thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
