Top Brink

This is the Top Brink pub in Lumbutts (so called because it's at the top of a very steep cobbled lane).  Long standing friends Mike and Valda collected me & Mrs MD and transported us to this nostalgic venue.
This is where I served my apprenticeship to join the world as a 'beer drinker'.  Back in the late 1950s/early 60s this was a small and very basic pub - nothing like the rather 'posh' pub in my Blip.  Barely recognisable today, but I knew where I was :-)
