Vicar’s Close, Wells
Rather than head straight home we went to Well’s. It’s been a very long time since I was last there.
The photo is Vicars' Close a medieval street believed to be the oldest continually inhabited residential street in Europe. It was built in the mid-14th century to house the Vicars Choral who sang daily in the cathedral.
We had a really lovely lunch before heading home.
After all of the fun at the weekend I wasn’t feeling well enough to go to choir practice.
