Pattern on stairs

My daughter is having a big birthday coming up in July. I am making a big basket with books, card, t-shirt, buddha and on top will be this dog, all wrapped in a big cellophane bag, that I had ordered from Amazon. And all this for someone who doesn't want any presents!!!!
But I know she will like the books and one of them is the one I made from her childhood drawings. I think it's precious.
