It’s been a warm day but I’ve not had to endure the worst parts of it. Lots of anxious Y11s going into their first literature exam this morning but the questions were very fair and, on the whole, they came out feeling like they’d given a good account of themselves. A distinct difference between those who had revised and those who hadn’t so let’s hope they do something about that before next Tuesday. Lessons taught and a team meeting at the end of it. Some news about next year preceded by ‘you are going to hate me’ was not a sign of effective leadership. Not much that can be done about such decisions at the moment but we shall see how things pan out. And Bailey is not doing so bad. A bit wobbly by the end of the day but I don’t think he is in pain so that is better than Saturday morning.
