The Raison d'être?

       Not all forgotten; I even spelt it right.  For a change the Musketeers not only went on a different day but went to a different locale. 
       Jerra & Clicky had promised a trip to Thacka Reserve for a while and today was the day.  
      Having been here yonks longer than me he was able to explain - BUT - what he didn't say & I didn't think to ask was. - when.  Seems that in inclement Weather Thacka Beck was prone to flooding parts of town.  To prevent it they built a Berm; which, inevitably, brought to mind "Inspecteur  Clouseau".  The Berm, of course created a Wetland; so why waste it, let's have a wetland Reserve.
       There wasn't a lot in the Bird line but I saw 2-3 plants I've not seen for, possibly, years.
       For those unaware Thacka Beck is frequently little more than a Trickle - BUT - it has a history.
