Hope this was just someone practicing (knots, not hangings) but either way it’s a strange thing to find on the golf course.
A cold east wind and a bit of haar meant the forecast warm weather was awol today but I wasn’t too bothered as I played a lot better and eased to a rare win.
Back to the Chinese Visa office later. “Did you bring a photo?” No, I uploaded a photo. “That photo was no good.” But the online system said it was OK. “You need another photo. Use the Photo Booth over there.” (A few minutes later.) It’s not working. “You need to bring a photo. We close at 3.” Ah, the joys of travel!! I got a photo at Haymarket Station and before 3, all’s well. Apart from the photo which is dreadful. I’ll be back again at the end of the week to pick up the visa.
Cinema tonight, Thunderbolts*, not what I was expecting but pretty good.
