Tulipa Sprengeri

Today’s picture is my Tulipa Sprengeri in flower in my garden. It’s a species tulip. They are £6 per bulb hence why I only have two. They stay in the ground all year and prefer a sunny corner and reasonably dry area. As you can imagine I mark and guard this corner every year to avoid me inadvertently digging it up. Look forward to its fleeting beauty every year in May.
