Reflecting

We went to see Titus Andronicus at the RSC tonight . The reviews have been good , and having read them I was well prepared for the level of violence. Actually the mutilations were done very cleverly and with special effects such as strobe that hid the trickery and then emerged full on gore! Also there was humour injected so well done.A great cast including Simon Russell Beale playing TA.The plot is bonkers but basically REVENGE! Even to the end no one repents or sees their behaviour as evil, quite thought provoking.
