The hanging baskets are planted

This is Sunday

Today, another hot and rainless day, Mr MC finished planting the hanging baskets.  These baskets are the only safe place for petunias as they a loved as food by slugs.  You'd think that with all the hot rainless weather they might have disappeared but no!
In the late afternoon daughter #1 plus partner came over and had dinner with us - shepherd's pie which somehow seemed inappropriate on such a day.
