They're quick learners these wee things - been feeding them for a few days now and they know to hang about until the bananas arrive!  Bought their sparrow cuzzies some special birdy truffles today too......plenty to keep them going a while!

Very sad news late today - J passed away this afternoon.  He's been battling cancer for about 8 months and we had thought seemed to be making good progress, particularly after moving into a care home just last week.  I'm shocked and saddened at the suddenness of losing him......he's been such a huge part of Camera Club for many years and we worked closely on several things; he was my guide and support when I took on the Presidency and my sounding board for ideas and issues.  I'm going to miss his forthright discussions and his calm demeanour.  It was hard breaking this sad news to our membership this evening.
