St Andrews

We are fairly getting round the country!

Bens mum and dad were going to Edinburgh to a function so Laura asked us if we could do something with Ben.

I had my class in the morning and then around 12:30 we set off for St Andrews taking the scenic route through Fife. Another gorgeous day. We parked up in the car park near the bus station and then headed for something to eat first as no one had had lunch.

Bibi’s was nearby, never been but it was a good choice! I had the lentil and ham soup with nice bread. Ben had the salmon eggs Benedict and Paps had the Lebanese flatbread salad thing. Of course we all tasted each others food …. Ben actually finished my soup as I could no manage it all. I also had a home made scone and jam. Really happy with the food and a nice place inside with efficient staff.

Next we had a walk down to the East sands and walked out to the end of the Molo- spoke to a couple of students as there were many jumping off into the sea! The girl I spoke to was from Stirling and her friend grew up in California and now stayed in Falkirk. The big group of them were first year medical students . I asked why they were jumping off and it was due to them studying a lot and they needed a cold water experience haha. They were all having fun.

Next we walked up towards Janettas for an ice cream. The queue was massive (of course) but we only really waited 10 mins. It’s a bit different than Italy and Spain , the ice cream experience there is you get two scoops in a small tub only one here.. I chose cherry!

Next we walked to the Weat Sands and never seen the beach so busy which was great seeing people enjoying the sunshine. Usually at St Andrews you get that cold wind but not today.

We had a great day out and was home around 6:30. We were exhausted! All the sea air.

Heading towards the very last episodes of Yellowstone. I’ve loved this and also the prequels.
