Who's a heavy Buddha then?

When we had our garden landscaped after moving here, the garden man thought it would be a good idea to place our Buddha statue in a circle with an Acer next to it, the idea being that the Acer could grow around the back and over the top of Buddha to frame and shelter him.  Unfortunately, the positioning and the branch shape of the tree meant that the branches grew around the front and all but hid Buddha from view.  It wasn't practical to move the tree so instead, today we moved Buddha to the front.

I think it has worked well.  As the tree grows we can trim the branches so it covers him from the back. The only problem is that the cable from the solar lamp illuminating him isn't long enough so for the time being he will be lit from behind.  We'll see what that looks like and if it's not right, I'll see if I can extend the cable.
