Bottling Seal

Very warm and sunny day.
Went out to Machrihanish for our afternoon walk. Quite busy at the beach with several people enjoying swimming or paddling in the water.
The seals were enjoying the sunshine with some lying on the rocks apart from this one which was bottling.
 "Bottling" in seals refers to their resting posture in the water, where they float vertically with only their head above the surface to breathe. It's a way for them to sleep or rest while conserving energy when foraging
